Reef Mania Upflow Fluidized Calcium Reactors
A calcium reactor works by introducing CO2 into a chamber lowering
the pH of the water, thereby slowly dissolving the media. This water
exiting the calcium reactor (effluent) will be high in calcium and
alkalinity. Our calcium reactors are offered in 2 designs. Single chamber
and dual chamber. Both designs incorporate the use of a recirculation
line at the highest point in the reactor to re-introduce the leftover
CO2. Requires recirculation Pump, feed pump and CO2 Tank and regulator.
